Elizabeth Fremantle is the author of many critically acclaimed historical novels, including Sisters of Treason, The Poison Bed and Disobedient. Her 2013 novel, Queen’s Gambit (now re-released as Firebrand), has recently been adapted into a Hollywood film starring Alicia Vikander and Jude Law. Here, she talks to us about historical fiction, the Tudors and making fiction out of fact.
